In my opinion, Slayer are better off being a cover band then play their garbage that they usually play. I just don't understand why slayer have to be so heavy and why they hate god so much...
this cd has a collection of punk covers played at hyperspeed with tom screaming over the flail. The best song in my opinion is the minor threat cover filler
I like Slayer but I hate cover albums,and I really don't think they should have bothered.Don't get me wrong,the concept of making punk songs into high-speed thrash tunes is interesting,at least initially,but I think this is really poor.Still,that's not to say I don't have a favourite-Filler/I Don't Wanna hear It,originally by Minor threat,and it is the only song on the record with a title contrary to what I think of it!But as the rest,I really believe that this is Slayer's poorest effort.Its not that its particularly bad,but as I said I don't believe in the idea of entire cover albums (another one was Garage Inc,by no less than my favourite band,Metallica),and as cover albums go this isn't very satifying at all.
