King Diamond pumps out another exquisite album with the help of guitar wiz Andy LaRoque. The album has a thicker production and is overall less theatrical than its predecessor Abigail. This makers it so at least to me personally, King's voice sounds more out of place. That, and a bit less coherent sounding story music-wise are the only things holding it back. Still magnificent.

"Them" has the same Painkiller sound as all of King's albums, but it keeps all of the songs under five and a half minutes. I think this is a good move as none of the songs get stale like this.

Almost as good as Abigail and Conspiracy. The performance of Mikkey Dee is simply legendary (best work from him with any band in my opinion). Superb album.
