On top of being amazingly cohesive over its 36 tracks, The Dear Hunter's 'Color Spectrum' collection ends on a superb note with the 'White EP'. Combining almost every sound, instrument & musical style of the previous 8 EPs, none of these 4 tracks feel forced despite cramming so much into their 4 minute durations. Everything is so perfectly balanced that you can't help but feel that this is a maturing band that has now entered the next stage of their career. From the majestically delicate vocal harmonies to the inspiring lyrics; the 'White EP' is moving, yet ultimately exhilirating. Recommended Tracks: Home, Lost But Not All Gone & No God.

Just as you get hooked into one of the other colours the white ep comes in and totally turns at a tangent and delivers yet another flavour of pure awesome. Classic!

Christ. What a fucking way to end the collection. Similar to Violet, White pursues the more catchy and energetic side of The Dear Hunter, while still being intricate and dense. "Lost But Not All Gone" is one of the best songs the band has ever written, and it allows you to leave this album on the best note possible.
