They really don't deserve the level of hatred they get, a lot of people who hate on their image are probably fans of Kiss, Immortal and various other bands with ridiculous images. The music's just generic modern metal, like a cross between motley crue, glamour of the kill and A7X

I really don't see what all the fuss is honestly. This album DEFINITELY doesn't add anything new or ground breaking, but at the same time wasn't all that bad. Many cast these away automatically when seeing the glam metal look, when in all honestly, rock and metal would not be where it is today without it. Just like the grunge movement that followed, glam metal was part of rock and roll evolution whether we like it or not. Hell even metal greats like Pantera used to be influenced by glam metal (See albums before Cowboys from Hell). Not having prejudice against their image, I decided to give this album a chance. All that stood out to me at all was the guitar work. It kept the songs interesting enough for me to keep going, but not enough to make this a standout record by any means. The drums seem like they're just there because they have to be, and the vocals can tend to be very generic. BVB needs to emphasize this "difference" in their music more than their appearance.

Honestly, the music itself, meaning instrumentally, was not that bad. It definitely still had the mainstream sound which becomes old after a while. What made this album so awful is the vocals and the main lyrical theme on the whole album. With the vocals, the album just felt fake or like useless encouragement.

Most of my biggest experiences in life have some sort of connection to this album, positive, or negative. This is an album I'll always treasure, and it will continue to be one of the biggest influences I have as a musician.

This band's image, as well as the vocals provided by Andy Biersack, is laughably bad. The instrumentation is perhaps Set the World on Fire's only saving grace, yet even that sounds tiring and - without sounding like Gene Simmons' bitch here - was handled by better acts that dated WAY back to the early 1980s until the mid 90s. Did the whole glam metal subgenre even need a revival?

Really poor follow up to We Stitch These Wounds, this is guilty of having one of the worst songs i have ever heard on it (fallen angels) but also actually has a couple of good ones (Legacy in particular). This isn't quite as terrible as some would have you believe nor as much of an improvement as others would let you think, but is content to just be a slightly below average release plagued by terrible vocal work (seriously, Andy, what the fuck)

The music is a reinvention of Glam Metal, too bad no one gives a crap anymore. The band is relying on their Hot Topic, well, topics instead of actual music. Almost hipster-like, the band tries to celebrate the non-mainstreamers while being incredibly radio-friendly and mainstream themselves. Goth Kiss.

I have a confession to make. Even though the body art on the members of BVB is laughable, some songs are completely crap and boring and shit but there is at least one song I like on here called "Rebel Love Song". It's not amazing but it's good. Buy the studio version but don't see that song or the entire setlist from BVB live. It's very bad.

Completely dissapointed, I got into this band as well before the emos and enjoyed them still until i noticed a couple songs off WSTW were really unoriginal and filler. Most others were good though like morticians daughter, we stitch these wounds,. however this album lacks any originiality whatsoever. Andys voice is boring unless he thinks before he makes a song and uses it in an exciting way. This album made me hate this band and what its become. Jake is an amazing guitarist however and the most talented member of BVB by far. This band did everything to keep grabbing scene kids attention.
