Born This Way is the best album to come from the Big Four of Thrash (Metallica, Megadeth, Lady Gaga, Anthrax) since the 1990s. That's not saying much, as their prime was the 1980s. Since then, three of those bands flailed about: Metallica went the radio route, Megadeth tried to do the same, and Anthrax turned to hard rock. Lady Gaga, on the other hand, remained Lady Gaga.

Alright Alright, being gay is okay.... we get it. Nothing else to say about this piece of godawful music. Fame Monster actually had some decent tracks on it... but this is just an overproduced mess of boring club songs without anything that separates them from the 2301239213 other pop-club-songs. Judas is the best track and by that I mean I don't have to puke instantly when I hear it. Scheiße is actually the worst song in the entire universe. It`s so shitty(see what I did there... look it up if you don't know german =P) I can't bring myself to listen it to the end.

Wow I learned a lot from this review (and it confirmed some previous suspicions). Channing Freeman is undoubtedly a huge hipster faggot. Seriously, what kind of flamboyant homosexual professes their love for Lady Gaga? What kind of flamboyant homosexual even listens to Lady Gaga for that matter? But all of this is fine (I have nothing against gays) if it weren't for brain-dead homo proclaiming that she is a good role model for young people. I guess her penis and 'catchy' choruses have clouded Channing's mind. I always knew Channing Freeman was a poser who knew nothing about metal. Reading this pathetic review confirms that his opinions are truly worthless.

Lady Gaga seems to ditched writing good music in order to appeal to overweight suburban girls with self-image problems. Unfortunately, even the good songs that show her and RedOne's writing talent are completely marred beyond belief by horrible lyrics.

So, Lady Gaga just released the pop album of the next decade already. Few albums are full of THIS much life, soul and confidence. Both accessible and inaccessible, experimentation is abound, but Lady Gaga's version of pop is still in-your-face, loud and heartfelt. The album of the year.

While those who loved how The Fame Monster turned out might not like her new direction, there is no denying that Lady Gaga is stepping out of her comfort zone and evolving her sound with each release. With new experimentation everywhere, Born This Way combines elements from both of her previous works and injects a new energy into her sound. This album shows that Gaga not only takes risks, but is growing more and more as an artist.

Among the hour or so of club fodder are some hooks honestly worth a #1 hit (Judas comes to mind, which gets better every time I listen to it), but for the most part BTW is just that - club fodder, plus beating the idea of individuality into the ground beyond recognition. That being said, I wonder what her next shtick is going to be...

I'm really disappointed that Lady GaGa dropped a bit of the risque, and just plain raw, personality she had in order to inspire the cult of "monster" followers she has. I was looking forward to this but by the 4th single it was clear this was destined to be the most mediocre and dull big release this year. It's too bad, she had me intrigued after "Fame Monster" but here she presents you with a lengthy 1.2 hours of material with maybe 3 good songs of 17 along the way. Here's the deal though; one is a single (Judas) so it's expected that it's good, one is technically a bonus track (Black Jesus) not on the actual album, and one had to grow on me first (Electric Chapel). Yup...fail.

The songs are generally better than on The Fame, but the disco beat gets repetitive, and the lyrics sometimes are self-indulgent. I LOVE "Judas", though, and some songs on the album show a growth in her pop sensibilities.

"Bad Kids" gives me the impression that she is totally out of touch with who her fan base is. The section from "Bloody Mary" to "Electric Chapel" is ridiculously boring, while the rest ranges from decent ("Marry the Night," "Government Hooker") to kinda mostly good ("Judas," "Hair"). Overall, pretty disappointing though.

I think the album was excellent musically and exceeded my expectations. Gaga created a smart
and solid blend of electronic, industrial, rock and dance music as promised. Highlights:
Government Hooker, Hair, Schei?, Bloody Mary (The best one), Yo?d I, The Edge Of Glory.
