So this is like way angrier than ANY RAP EVER, something I'd know from listening to exactly 0 hip hop artists in the last twenty years, but a dude from a neckbeard band is the beats guy on this, so it's automatically GREAT. And did I mention it's angry? That's so /33t cuz hip-hop is NEVER ANGRY! The lyrics are just so deep, insightful and weave a tale of angry anger, with poignant lines like IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES x 9! And they shout a lot! Let me tell you, if you love obnoxious bottom-feeding Scarface wannabes bellowing into a mic like a ghetto Hitler with hardly any thought, prowess or subtlety YOU WILL NUT FOR THIS.
But on account that it's way more underground and way less good, YEP BETTER THAN GOBLIN bahahahahaha

Jesus Christ it's been so long, so long since the rap world has seen something new, innovative, and meaningful. Is this what Exmilitary is? A meaningful, new, innovative, mixtape? Or is it a pile of ***? People on the internet seem to be divided about this; some people think it’s the new "hip-hop revolution", and some people think it’s just hardcore garbage. I, on the other hand, am quit divided on this subject, and I will explain this.
On one hand this is innovative, if you compare it to *** like lil wayne or any other “modern rap” out there. But that’s not the only reason; the beats are inspired by none other than throbbing gristle,or nine inch nails, and the vocalist or mc ride if you will, sounds paranoid and scared, which makes the music very ecstatic. Songs like “takyon”,” lord of the game” or “beware” are glorious strong points on this mixtape, if the whole album were like these things it would be a classic. Unfortunately this is not the case.
On the other hand, this album can be quit pretentious. Mostly because of Mc Ride, his vocals or “rhymes” if you will can be quit annoying. And some of the songs his lyrics are just down right awful.And there’s a lot of filler, especially toward the end. And songs like “klink”, “thru the walls” are just hardcore messes.
So it’s a mixed bag, some great songs, some not so great, fortunately death grips came out with some far more consistent material later on in there career.

I really like that they sample Link Wray on "Spread Eagle Cross the Block", and I think this album could've been remarkable if they had remained at least somewhat faithful to that style. It's when they dabble in brostep (or whatever you want to call the rest of this rubbish) that this album falls by the wayside. Sampling rockabilly on a hip-hop track (for me, at least) is actually fresh and challenging; obnoxious, random, and grating bleeps and bloops make you sound like a fratboy with a computer. With that in mind, The Money Store really saddens me (or just makes me think that "Spread Eagle Cross the Block" was a fluke).
