Some nice guitar moments here and there are nowhere near enough to save this from the wallows of modern thrash mediocrity. It's sterile, recycled and repetitive just like most modern offerings from boomer 80s bands past their prime. The fact that it's brickwalled and overproduced doesn't help, nor do the 3rd rate Hetfield vocal impressions. Don't get how anyone would rate this above the band's debut but maybe that's just me. Big shame, their first two albums are truly good.
