Were they being serious with this? I really can't even tell. It really doesn't even sound like ISS. It's more like Owl City with some breakdowns here and there.

moved up from 1 because of "Upside Down". The rest of this bands catalog is mostly fodder but Upside Down is one of my favorite tracks ever. Undeniably catchy, with decent melodic guitar licks and synth parts. Love that song too much

An absolute party of an album that manages to mix electronica, pop, metal and emo into a glorious masterpiece. Every song here is as anthemic as music gets and packs an absolutely amazing sonic punch as the band moves from electronic synthesizers to 80s hair metal guitar solos then to autotuned pop-punk choruses , hardcore gang shouts and then back to intense thrash metal freak outs. This album is an adrenaline rush that is sure to keep even the most ADD riden tweens interested. In lesser hands all of this genre hoping could come off as unfocused, forced, and especially indulgent, but I See Stars are excellent song writers and know how to balance all of these seemingly disparate elements together. Now, this album isn't for everyone (it may be too poppy and chaotic for some to handle), but for the kids of this generation, when they run out of their aderol or ritalin, this just may be the only thing that'll keep their attention.

Amidst the annoying autotune, the cringe-worthy lyrics, and the inherently shoddy formula of combining synths and other electronic bleeps and bloops with br00tal breakdowns and hxc screaming, there are, admittedly, some pretty catchy melodies on here. And I can tell that the band actually gave a shit about what they were writing, too, however poor what they were writing is. And that's enough to merit a 2.

The scene got the best of them. Now as generic and disgustingly poppy as ever, you wonder if this is even the same band that released 3-D. The name of the last song describes this band pretty well, Pop Rock and Roll...complete with guitar solos, pop punk hooks, and catchy synth. They've almost completely abandoned their post-hardcore elements. I wouldn't be surprised if I heard one of these songs on the radio this summer.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed with this album. I miss the clever breakdowns and the even better mix of pop rock and screamo. With all that said this album is a little better than average. Sure there is not as much screaming and some overdone melodies but there is still some jewels on here, especially if you can enjoy the popier side of I see stars

While it has its wonderfully catchy moments everyone was looking forward to it, it's unfortunately smothered in the mediocrity that surrounds it. While I like my generic pop-punk, this becomes too monotonous after a certain point. Though the key lovely moments can make it worth listening to. Maybe.

If you can get over the fact that the singer now sounds like he's ten years old (believe me, that's a high hurdle to get over) then you have the familiar sound of I See Stars. There is also a noticeable lack of synths on the album which is a shame because they are what brought 3D to a new pedestal. Aside from the overly sugary parts on the album, they are unequally balanced by the AMAZING heavy parts; with an amazing screamer it's surprising he wasn't utilized enough on World Party because his moments are honestly the only thing you'll look forward to when you listen to a song from this.

Some songs try hard to be really catchy, but unfortunately the most songs sound exactly the same and the high pitched voice starts to annoy me after like 4 tracks. In comparison, the last record wasn't perfect at all, but definitely had its moments.

Hmmmmm.........its an average album compared to 3-D.......First, the screams on the 2nd
album were cool and eargasmic to the ear.....Second, the two singles, mainly "The End of the
World Party" and "Wonderland", is not exactly a good pick from the band as singles......even
though it is upbeat and it's fun to the ears........The other tracks were good and gives me
a new beat to the once known "electronicore" band which is I See Stars......This is my first
rating at this site.....and I chose I See Stars because for me......they caught my attention
on their first album 3-D.......
