A huge improvement over anything the band has released before, 'Slander' is a step forward. While it's still nothing amazing, it's a fun and ridiculously entertaining album from beginning to end.

I'm really glad they decided to take themselves a bit more seriously on this album. Their 'partygrind' gimmick was getting old. The guitar riffs are simple but make more sense over top of the heavy drums this go-around, and the vocal placement is much improved. Casey's growls are amazing, and Tyler's highs have gotten way better. The samples aren't as good on this record but that's the least important part of their music IMO. Check out 'Welcome to Camp Nightmare', 'Who You Gonna Call?!', and 'The Big Sleep', the latter of which is probably the only song they've ever written that is meant to be completely serious.

Pretty decent album. Very straighforward and heavy, brutal and in-your-face. Not much talent here, but these guys really know how to transcend the party through the metal.

Really a notch above their previous efforts, which I also enjoyed. The dual vocals are great, and the samples are hilarious and well used. The lyrics are clever and funny, which is awesome for this genre of music.
