The soundtrack to lose your mind to. Boards of Canada takes their listeners to somewhere that doesn't even feel human. Reading the conspiracies behind the album makes it even twice as fun. Especially when you've already embraced the sounds beforehand and had that ever so slight feeling that emotions conveyed through this album weren't things you would normally tell anyone about. Some may call this album pretentious or irrational, and at first for most it may be. But once it consumes you and truly finds a place to nest - it becomes an addiction whether you want it to or not. And there's no doubting the authenticity of it after that. The truly captivating part; it's somehow enjoyable. Geogaddi would be coined as a guilty pleasure to most, but it's not even like that for me.. I'll attest to loving every second of it.
It took this album two weeks to become my second favorite album of all time and assured the Boards of Canada will be one of my favorite bands of all time. rMusic is Math and Dandelions are two of the best songs ever, just sayin
