Who the fuck is Alex Robertson? Come Around Sundown is their best album since their debut, and quite possibly the rock album of the year.

Right Now is a 4. rAlbum's like a recollection of their career. It's got elements from all their albums, and still manages to introduce some new stuff. rCaleb's vocals sound amazing in this.rGood Work Kings of Leon!!!

Come Around Sundown is what you call a double take. After the stadium rock sounds and rmass following of Only By The Night we were all expecting another step in that rdirection, but yet, Kings of Leon have given us an album that is probably something that you rcould only dream of, an album that is probably one of the best rock offerings in a long rtime.

Great album, every song has a good beat to it.... perfectly executed album.... imo 2nd best
from KOL... more directed to their older fans rather than their only by the night ones..
just hope they dont over play it.

I find Kings of Leon to be an interesting band, despite the negativity coming from people about the numerous times they've heard "Sex On Fire" and "Use Somebody" on the radio. Come Around Sundown is an album with melancholic and pessimistic lyrics but that does not necessarily translates into ballad-style and slow-tempo songs. One notable thing for me is the bass which again appears with some interesting lines and grooves. Recommendations: "The Face", "The End", "Radioactive", "Pony Up"

Quite a record to listen. You feel somewhat spirit of Only by the night but also you hear something different (I guess that's how they older albums sound ). One of my favorite rock releases in quite some time.

Kings of Leon have slowly been paving the way for their brand of slightly southern-tinged rock music, apparently with their sights becoming focused on breaking into the mainstream market. This mission was undeniably accomplished with the band’s immensely popular 2008 airwaves dominator Only By the Night. Spawning multiple singles and generating great interest for the band, it may have been difficult to figure out where to go from that point. Does a band now go back to their humble, less popular roots? Rather, does the unit aim to keep their relevance at its highest point by repeating a successful formula at the risk of fan-alienation and critic panning? I suppose to really properly answer these questions one either has to be a devout follower of the band, or look past the record for what it really is. Avoiding both these pit-falls, this listener has found that Kings of Leon have perhaps found a happy medium, retaining that southern twang without risking their radio-potential. Don’t get me wrong; this can be pretty frustrating considering some of the material the band has put out in the past. Still, the first half of the album goes full-steam ahead, and while there is a bit of a quality drop on the latter half, Kings of Leon seem to have found a comfortably niche that isn’t completely against nature.
