2.0 poor | Eclectic | July 22nd 10 | Grating, meandering noise, "Sounds of an Islander's City, Touch of a Medieval Faerie" gets swallowed up by its own bloated concept. The tracks meld together into 9 minutes of mindless shrieking and static, occasionally twisting and turning into something worth listening to but never for long enough.

1.0 awful | SharkEthic | July 24th 10 | Bitchfork made noise for 9 minutes...and that's pretty much what it sounds like, no (oh so pretentious) concept will change that.

0.0 | Bitchfork | July 21st 10 | Sounds of an Islander's City, Touch of a Medieval Faerie is a five-track, nine-and-a-half-minute joyride through worlds of sonic destruction - plane atop plane and plane and plane of noise. And then, yeah, there's like... more noise. All this noise may seem offputting at first, but it's just a way for Unfathoms, aka Austin Tracey, to show the downside of technology. Frenzied works made via modern technology to show modern technology's destruction. Hip, eh?
