great album. Coming from someone who enjoys the new BTBAM stuff but sometimes finds the songs a little too long, this is basically the album that brings me back to what I loved about BTBAM's early work. PS, just noticed this comment is dated July 12th and not the 27th..haha weird.

This album just screams amazing. The melodies of arena rock, the vocals of metalcore, the tempo of a big band, great guitar hooks of metal, everything. I absolutely love it.

unique, progressively minded riff-based grooves, sweeping, competent vocals, and great guitar tone. you will absolutely appreciate this more if you play guitar.

Called to arms, Peril and the Patient- Nowadays its hard to find music that will catch my interest. I dont know if anyone else feels the same, like there isn't any passion left, everybody wants to do something for a quick buck. But if you take time and look you will find a hidden gem. Thats what happened with CTA. When I heard the first track, "Patients Prognosis," I knew I had found something that I was gonna spend a lot of time with, which is why i felt like i should write this. After the beginning intro, the vocals tear in, scratching and angry. He switches it up though. With almost black metal screams and wails. Every song has its own little part that you have to hear everytime, so listening to it all the way through is not a challenge. The guitars are fast and when they need to be; beautiful. The keys and atmosphere on "Dead Fire in a Cold Room" are chilling, and a nice little interlude before another 4 brutal songs when you get another break on "Ashamed, Awake." If you like BTBAM, check these guys out. The riffs these guys bust out are so catchy, Safest Road to Hell is one of the best songs I have heard in a while, the Zakk Wylde like riff, and the ending solo are really proof that these guys are hopefully going to fronting this scene with the other greats shortly. Check it out.

This sounds like a BTBAM cover band. With that said, this album is still really fun to spin every now and then.
