Jokes aside, this is an extremely creative and chaotic ride. It's hard to come by bands that stretch so far beyond any of the boxes they were supposed to fit in. These guys are doing some stuff that practically nobody else is, love it or hate it. Songwriting is super unpredictable, instrument tones are otherworldly, and I'm here for it.

This album goes insanely hard at points - but I feel like it's missing the mark when it comes to cohesiveness. "I Let It In" was much more liquid and enjoyable from a long-play standpoint. This one it feels like they were much more focused on singles/separate moments.
Feels like they took too long between projects at this point and it became untenable to rise above the last one. Anyways, still gonna go apeshit at the show. These songs should be a lot more approachable in the live setting.

I let it in and everything sounds like a mess in the production. Theres a beautiful album hidden somewhere in this but everything sounds so muddled. Kadeem sounds like he's yelling into styrofoam. Reminds me similar to Blackest Beautiful by Letlive.

Im not a big fab if this band, but I can say that there is an decent album here. The problem is that its entombed and buried by the production and a lot of Bass. The heavy sections feel like a compressed hive of noise that is just samey, obscuring any detail to be found. The lighter sections feel while poppy and airy, at odds with the heavy side of the album so it leaves tbe whole thing disjointed.

headache inducing production sorta dragging this one down a bit. it sounds cool and the songwriting itself is great, but sheesh it could use a little less of whatever effect they're using for the instrumentationredit: okay actually the production has grown on me, there's nothing out there that sounds like this right now
