The new single is ok but not the most exciting thing on the planet, the spitfire vocals get old pretty fast especially when used THIS much. Also, stupid stupid title.

Based off of the 4 singles, it seems almost impossible that this isn't a 4.5 or higher.

Another strong Archspire album. This time, though, what really sold it for me was the increased
focus on melody, something that the band hadn't experimented as much with before. They're still
fast and technical as heck, but a lot of these tracks win me over through catchy lead guitar
lines and more accessible structures that actually revisit ideas instead of relentlessly mutating
them (got em). On earlier albums, I was there for the wacky time signatures and intelligent
dynamic compositions. They stroke a better balance here, and it made for a great album. It just
didn't make for one of their best albums. Excited for the next one.

Continuing to press the limits of human speed, Archspire doesn?t disappoint with a face-melting introduction to their
first outing as independent artists. ‘Carrion Ladder’ proves to be a greater assault to the senses than their previous
effort, with a machine gun’s pace, explosive delivery, and surgical precision in tow. The boys are back in town, indeed.
