To really consider this as a full-length is rough, since the album in whole is actually really short. Aside from the length though, Sleeping With Sirens has really surprised me with this album, it's catchy and entertaining, but seems to rely on to many of the same things for each song. I couldn't help but feel that every song felt and sounded nearly the same way. The vocals are fantastic and most of the instrumental work is fine as well, but as a whole, this is an album in need of some work which hopefully the band can improve on with their sophomore album.

It is really a shame how many people discredit this album just because of "the band's appeal to scene girls," or attributing their popularity to the fact that Kellin Quinn is at the helm. This album breaks through those stereotypes and manages to produce one of the strongest, passion driven, Post-Hardcore albums to date... Give or take a pointless interlude, this is a well-written and well-executed album for fans of the genre.

This album, and perhaps this band for that matter, would be at least passable had they gotten a better lead singer. Kellin Quinn's vocals are piercingly tedious that it makes it sound like Justin Bieber trying to be metal. Sleeping With Sirens are musically just another post-hardcore emo group doing what bands like Pierce the Veil and Thursday are doing except with less creativity and punches.

some songs fall short for me but there are certain winners here for me like You Kill Me in a Good Way. The lyric "Don't give up because you're losing (you haven't lost)" makes me giddy as someone who struggles with depression, singing this lyric in the car is very empowering. Don't know if anyone else can relate and I don't really care

save for the awkward breakdowns and god-awful lyrics, this is a really catchy and interesting album. At some points I think Sleeping with Sirens are trying to please too many fans - the breakdowns, the auto-tune that makes an appearance and the almost cliche acoustic ballad. If I'm James Dean... is defiantly worth the listen, however the other songs are everything you'd expect of a modern post-harcore band.

The clean vocals are really great, but the screams leave a bit to be desired. It's nothing extraordinarily unique, but they do enough to distinguish themselves from the other over 9000 post-hardcore bands. Definitely worth a listen, if you like the genre.

Amazing. I don't find it generic at all. Not every song has 34523 breakdowns, and Kellin's voice is beautiful. They are amazing live. Seen them once and I'm seeing them again with Confide and From First To Last. (My band is opening)

The album was far too short, which was expected. They kept to the general 10 track style, and nonsensical track names. So they say not to judge something by what it seems to be, but that theory should be ruled out as it's ineffective in present day. On the other hand, Kellen's voice kept this album from getting a "very poor" rating.
