4.5 superb | Max Verstappen | June 23rd 23 | 2023's best jam band. A huge improvement from the debut album, and just a tonne of fun with the vocals, instrumentation, and huge variety of influences.

4.5 superb | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | July 8th 23 | Your enjoyment of this album in its full length format is heavily subject to your ability to withstand its musical challenges and influences thrown in the blender with hot sauce and personality disorder.

3.7 great | Erwann S. STAFF | July 3rd 23 | Yeehaw cowboy art punk - and very spazzy at that! 3D Country just goes everywhere all at once, which sometimes translates into epic maximalism - when it doesn't, it's a big fucking mess that's epic and maximalist but mostly messy. The vocalist adds to this crazy vibe with his wild'n'wide range, but often to the rest of the band's detriment: there are instances when he clearly is the only interesting thing happening.

3.5 great | ajcollins15 | June 28th 23 | The sophomore album from the young group of punk rockers evolves their art-punk sound into southern and indie rock. ?3D Country? is an explosive and booming Southern rock album that takes a lot of hints from the booming Southern rock genre of the 2000s. There is a lot of energy here and the band continues to show that they have the capacity to make memorable punk music. But they have a hard time sticking the landing on this album. They throw a lot of different ideas at the wall on this album, and I am not sure they all land. A lot of solid ideas and I think they have tapped into a unique style of punk and southern rock here, but a lot needs to be flushed out.

0.0 | this space for rent | June 23rd 23 | With 3D country Geese have discarded the stifling confines of postpunk entirely. This is an album of spastic freak out jams wildly reaching in all directions and banking on their inherent musicality to land things safely...at some point...for the most part. Vocalist Jeff Arevalo in particular sounds gloriously unhinged here. If this is the sound of a young band spreading their wings, there is truly no telling how high they will soar.
