I started seeing the points people made about inconsistencies near the end of the album but the start is just so so
strong, there wasn’t a song I didn’t love all the way up to maybe Bob Dylan’s Dream which I thought was alright, and the
rest were a bit predictable. Doesn’t change the fact that I was absolutely entranced by side one, plus don’t think twice,
it’s alright, which honestly makes me well up in a way I can’t adequately explain. Maybe if I had the lyrical skill of Dylan I
could. But I don’t. And nor does anyone else to be frank

Just Dylan tickling and plucking his acoustic and breathing through his harmonica, yet his lyric writing is truly masterful: these songs, of which seven are genuine greats, are simultaneously documents of their time and applicable in the world of today. Watch this kid, he could go somewhere.

dylan has so many great albums, but this one will always be my favorite. at 21 years old, dylan penned the epic 'a hard rain is gonna fall' and the revolutionary lyrics to "blowin in the wind". pretty impressive. whether he is telling an entertaining and comical story, or singing about leaving his girl, he just has a way with words that never ceases to amaze me. there's not much to say other than he is a true wordsmith and deserves all the recognition that he gets.
