5.0 classic | MythoBeanz69 | April 26th 16 | I fucking love this band, very sad that they split up

0.0 | mcg182 | September 21st 10 | It's not really a major improvement, or even a big change in Fact's post-hardcore sound, but it does deliver, and it perfects Fact's ability to make a catchy song or a poetic, equally catchy, and emotional ballad. It's also humble how it tries not to be Fugazi, Helmet, At the Drive-In, and so on, nor pass itself off as post-hardcore just by puting dissonance everywhere (*cough* Miss May I), but instead focuses on their music and no one else's, and the more experimental and diverse aspect.

0.0 | bloc | January 15th 10 | hmmmm, so it looks as if my worst fears have come to life. sure, the album is NOT bad, but it lacks the freshness that their self titled had. Remember when you heard rock, synths, and technical playing all in one song? well, two out of the three are almost gone in The Blink of an Eye; this time around, rock is the only sound that prevails and it leaves the listener unsatisfied as if they just listened to a totally different (and average) band.

3.0 good | Iceolated | January 14th 10 | Good album. More poppy than their previous material, which I loved.
Compared to their older material this album has no real stand out tracks in my opinion. The album works as a hole but I can't seem to pick out single songs and like them on their own. Unlike the self titled which was well rounded and had certain songs I could listen to over and over on their own.

4.0 excellent | ThePalestMexican | January 14th 10 | FACT tries to create a followup, but it seems like they're playing it safe. However that doesn't mean this album isn't full of surprises.

4.0 excellent | PirateSquid | January 13th 10 | While it is a bit poppier, the extremely aggresive sound you'd expect from FACT is back and they've put together a mature, extremely good effort.

4.0 excellent | Furik | January 13th 10 | "In the blink of an eye" was a great new attempt at keeping with their self-titled sound.
Fans of their earlier work will be disappointed but since this is their second major label
album you can't expect much from their indie sound anymore.
