This album fascinates me immensely because it has that OSDM attitude and sound, but then the song structures reveal more of a wall of sound approach with a rich, dark atmosphere in practically all of the songs. Ahead of its time for sure.

Distinguishing itself through it's sheer complexity, with even the filler moments in the album being entertaining, Brutality lives up to its name by creating a record not only brutal to the ears in all the right ways, but by opening new doors for an otherwise hard to improve niche.
