4.0 excellent | FrozenFirebug | July 21st 23 | man has extremely painful 40 minute climax while taking a fat laudanum-impacted crap
for the first time in a month, set to the tune of above average noise rock
yup, it's another oxbow record

3.8 excellent | Erwann S. STAFF | July 27th 23 | Love songs (not sexy love songs though!!) carried by a voice that strangely makes me think of Tom Hardy's in Batman (???) and bluesy arpeggios carrying art rock that titillates noise rock and post-hardcore without fully diving into those genres.

3.7 great | Robert Garland STAFF | July 24th 23 | This is kind of low key, high key amazing and needs some more love.

3.5 great | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | July 24th 23 | Oxbow are generally difficult to swallow for many for their slow-burning, raspy delivery, and 'Love's Holiday", being their "sensual" album, can be one of the most acquired listens in their discography. It is especially challenging, given the abundance of ageing reflective brooding they employ, culminating in even front sequences sometimes.
