the least interesting album cover next to suicide, kill, n plague, penis or not. not impressed with corpsegrinder's vocals here, very flat and boring, though his screams are certainly better than barnes

Corpse?s transition record with some incredible highlights, but marred by inconsistency. Barnes? arrival brings new vocal possibilities and qualities, however it causes the band to seem like they are caught between the style preceding this album, and the one following it.

The songs are all VERY similar, I mean it's not that uncommon amongst death metal but the songs sound way too the same. The instrumental side is good but very generic, the vocals and production are quite good though.

George Fishers debut picks up where Chris Barnes left off finely, with absolutely classic tracks such as Mummified In Barbed Wire, the haunting Disfigured, and the awesome Devoured By Vermin.
