Whether Cogito are fusing mathcore with emo or providing awkward post-rock interludes, Cogito's sound is pretty tedious, oftentimes with strained vocals and tried ideas. Granted, there are very few glaringly obvious flaws from which Vital EP suffers, but the quality of the tracks are rarely above average.
