Taking to the next level of the new found heaviness from prior album "The Kingdom", Bush sounds refreshed and eager to make a comeback. The album sounds cohesive (something prior Bush albums lacked) and tight. More than machines is definitely a standout and features everything that makes Bush stand out including catchy vocals, a crunchy riff sprinkled with electronics. This is Bush proving they are not ready to fade into the abyss of 90's rockers.

Checking this out now. Musically the first song almost sounds reminiscent of something you’d hear off Hum’s latest
album Inlet. Hell yeah.

This album didn't immediately click with me like
the last one did because you really do need to
sit and enjoy it as a whole much like Razorblade
Suitcase and The Science Of Things. Loving it
even more after each spin as they have really
crammed alot of cool ideas into each song.
Another big surprise for 2022 as I did not expect
an album so complete. They have expanded upon
their past offerings(as well as the sounds found
in Institute) with this release as they now sound
modern, fresh, relevant, and hungry af. 1000
Years is my new favorite Bush song.
