A better kind of modern black metal release. Fortunately Marter isn't one from the a post-metal-soaked-bullshit-type, so it was quite enjoyable. However, it felt a bit "hollow", so I rarely felt those outstanding moments when I could think "damn, this slays" (ofc there are some, like the second half of "Odem" or the closer track); but altogether it was still enjoyable since the riffs were cool, and the vocals reminded me to WitTR.
