4.5 superb | Jeanfreddy Gutierrez | January 8th 23 | When I think of a progressive metal band member's solo album, even when it's death and/or black, I think of acoustic, ambient and even electronics. This album surprises on several layers, first because it is powerful, brutal and luxurious guests, with a couple of extreme tracks, but for being well composed, executed and produced, including epic tracks, with orchestral arrangements and yes, of course, very Devin Townsend. It is perhaps a kind of suite where the Haken guitarist lends himself to the guests doing what they do best, appealing to classics ways of the genre, to virtuosity that can be elegantly subjugated to the heritage of their names, but I also like the album for its diversity that is as thunderous as it is satisfying. And I add one more surprise, that a solo album contains so much, sounding instead of a titanic effort by a guitar hero like an all-star album.

5.0 classic | Johnny Maccaroni | September 1st 22 | Obsessed with this, it honestly borders a 5... Pure proggy bliss with amazing choruses and rmelodies. For fans of BTBAM, Symphony X, The Odious and why not, Haken.

4.5 superb | Gibleson | June 22nd 22 | It might just be the best side-project to come from one of the Haken guys so far. Epic stuff.
"Dead in the Water" and "In Alluvium" are highlights.
