Do CURRENT YEAR teenagers have any feelings besides self-pity, bitterness, and jealousy? The lyrical content could be forgiven if the music wasn't so derivative, and if the singer didn't sound like she's pretending to have a speech impediment. But I can't blame her, since clean enunciation hasn't been in vogue for several years. It's nothing but the sounds of various 2000s bands (which were already pretty derivative), but watered down 10x.r

When I Used to Think I Could Fly goes for the sassy trap'n'B cuts, it embodies the definition of milquetoast - McRae ain't got the voice to carry a song through a meh beat. When she pours her emotions into ballads, it's less milquetoast thanks to the lyrics, but still milquetoast musically. And when she goes power pop rock, it's basically a less interesting version of "good 4 u" - now a classic :] - despite her more confident performance on these kinds of tunes - kudos for "she's all i wanna be" and its fun vibe.

Is there any emotion in this year's youth other than self-pity, anger and jealousy? A song's lyrics can be forgiven if the song is not played that way, and if the singer does not feel that he or she is pretending not to speak. But I can not blame her, because for years there is no clear statement in fashion. The band's sound differs from the 2000's (it was already original), but fell short of 10k.

¿Tienen los adolescentes del AÑO ACTUAL otros sentimientos además de autocompasión, amargura y celos? El contenido de las letras podría perdonarse si la música no fuera tan original y si la cantante no sonara como si estuviera fingiendo tener un impedimento del habla. Pero no puedo culparla, ya que la enunciación limpia no ha estado de moda durante varios años. No son más que los sonidos de varias bandas de la década de 2000 (que ya eran bastante derivados), pero diluidos 10x.rrr
