3.7 great | Erwann S. STAFF | January 17th 22 | Continuing to establish himself as the *abstract* dude, Earl delivers another suite of psychy, instropective shorties that take time to be fully digested. If musically this does use a bit more trap traits, it doesn't *feel* that different from SRS. It's obviously great, even though it suffers from a midway dull and shows fewer ideas than its predecessor.

2.0 poor | Alex C. | January 18th 22 | Who says this needs to be digested from a musical standpoint has very low standards of what complex music is

3.5 great | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | May 20th 22 | Earl Sweatshirt makes his skit-flavoured abstract hip-hop a little more accessible, thereby achieving a clearer thematical dynamic, as well as a little less engaging album as a whole.

3.0 good | cjbizzlebizzle | February 26th 22 | This album seems to end right when you just start getting into it. The beats all around are pretty cool with a mix of live instruments and trappy electronic stuff. The title track, the piano beat and 'Vision' in general and the hard bars in 'Titanic' stand out but even for 24 minutes it feels like a decent amount becomes forgetabble.

3.5 great | Tjatkinson1998 | February 5th 22 | While not as groundbreaking as his previous album, SICK! is still vintage Earl and back to his best after that disappointing FEET OF CLAY EP. His anecdotes of growing up in the struggle and his relationships with those around him are written so well, considering the short length of the tracks and the production by the likes of the Alchemist is sublime. Featured guests all do there thing too, in particular Armand Hammer on Tabula Rasa. A really cool album and a rapper at the top of his game. 8/10 Faves: Old Friend, 2010 and Tabula Rosa Least Faves:Titanic and Fire in the Hole

3.5 great | BRAman22 | January 24th 22 | While there are only a couple songs that I'd listen to individually, I think this album is greater than the sum of its parts, being a (mostly) chill sounding record that is very "of the times."

5.0 classic | madvillain2009 | January 20th 22 | Earl never ceases to amaze me. This album was fantastic from start to finish. He has another phenomenal masterpiece in the palm of his hands.

4.0 excellent | charlopiano | January 18th 22 | Fire In The Hole is the greatest song of the year so far, and Earl's best song in my opinion, this album is a whole is great, way under SRS right now but could potentially grow on me very much with time

3.0 good | ajcollins15 | January 17th 22 | I?m not going to lie, I really don?t understand the whole abstract hip-hop and drumless hype we are seeing right now in the hip-hop scene as of late. It could be because of the explosive and intricate nature that Earl Sweatshirt brought to the genre with his breakout album ?I Don?t Like Shit, I Don?t Go Outside? and later his glitchy ?Some Rap Songs?. Without those albums, we probably would have everyone and their mom trying to reproduce that sound. On ?Sick? Earl brings it back to basics, but in the grand scheme of this sound, it really isn?t anything special. I think Earl stands out from the rest of his peers, but man can this sound and style get stale fast.
