Heard this was worse than the awesome velocity : design : comfort, so went in listening to it with not too high expectations.
Turns out it's a great album, and a lot more fun than the precursor. Great progression

The second greatest left turn in music history!! Or third. I will NEVER disclose number 2 though. This isn?t as adventurous as their acclaimed previous album but god damn if it is not JUST as enjoyable, if not more so. Much more accessible, even if not quite as good as velocity : design : comfort

Possibly one of the biggest 180s I've ever seen in a band's discography. After the failed experiment known as Velocity:Design:Comfort a.k.a. how to not mix Shoegaze with IDM, looks like they've finally adopted a sound that suits them well. Production is much cleaner, less noisy and less irritating to the ears, and is rather a treat.

Astonishingly, this delivers catchy, playful and heavenly, heavenly, heavenly tunes all throughout. Like I can't recall a dud here. Can see it turning into a classic in my eyes in a few years' time.
