It's not a great challenge to find a record that sounds evil, but Swarth towers high above them all. Describing this record as "menacing" would be a joke.
I'm all for experimentation and atmosphere, but it's gonna take a lot of effort on my part to get my head in the right place for this. It's difficult to listen to 41 minutes of muddy tremolo picking. It will take many more difficult listens for me to even begin to tell songs apart from eachother or have any sense of what is happening. Nature of the beast I guess.
