Remember when Every Time I Die wrote really fun songs like "We'rewolf" and "INRihab"? Yeah, that's but a distant memory at this point. New Junk Aesthetic is here to whoop ass, make you want to grow a beard, chug a few PBR's, and maybe start a circle pit with those in your immediate area. And for a short and blistering thirty-one minutes, I couldn't ask for more. Check out "Organ Grinder", "For the Record", and "White Smoke" for top notch Botch-influenced metalcore, "Roman Holiday" for a surprisingly crushing intro track, and "The Marvelous Slut" for just a good time.

I was really happy this followed the Big Dirty, which I wasn't overly impressed with, this is quickly becoming one of my favorite ETID albums.

New Junk Aesthetic is like having your balls grabbed by the grip of Zeus and it never lets you escape. This is dirrrrrty southern rock at its finest and shows that ETID has absolutely no intention of ever slowing up. This is party music for rednecks so shotgun a PABST and let your head bang!

I'll always respect that this band stuck with the whole "hardcore" thing (even though people tend to tag them as this "metalcore" crap. but that's what pisses me off about them, too - that they're in a scene where people like to put big, fancy, stupid labels on them.

Imagine you're driving down the highway in a seven year old pickup truck with your best bro, routinely taking the most pedestrian, seven year old way home when your bro whips out this album. He jams the bitch into the disk tray, curb stomps the gas pedal through the floor, turns the steering wheel to the farthest left, rips it from the dashboard, activates the Jump-The-Fuck-UP function magically wired to your axels, and sucker punches the nitro into submission. Color your bro a master DJcorer who ignites each detail at will and you'll be doing kickass donuts on an overpass, man.
That's the album in a nutshell, MAN.
