2.5 average | charlopiano | November 19th 21 | A third of the songs are normal Adele, and really doesn't do much at all, the other third is a bunch of songs that are well produced, but would be miles better if any other singer would be singing them than Adele, and the last third is amazing.

3.5 great | ThyCrossAwaits | November 19th 21 | Agreed that this is easily her strongest record, and wow there are some SERIOUSLY good songs on here. rTo Be Loved is her ultimate slow-smolder masterpiece, for real.

4.0 excellent | Shattered_Future | November 19th 21 | Easily the best full record she's ever released. Arrangements and songwriting take center stage and give her voice the platform she's always needed, and finally gotten.

2.5 average | ajcollins15 | November 25th 21 | First off, I want to say one of Adele?s greatest tracks in all of her career shows up on this brand new LP and it?s not easy on me or any other boring, one-dimensional, or lackluster piano ballads that continue to plague her career. Still, there are some breathtaking and intricate explorations of sounds and styles, specifically the use of R&B and adult contemporary, that give me hope that Adele will shine into the future and blow past the blue-eyed soul background that was hindered her singing in the past. The intro track ?Strangers by Nature? allows Adele to explore something more akin to James Blake with its atmospheric, subtle, and patience-testing sound that bolsters and improves her already explosive and intricate singing delivery. However, the star of this album ?My Little Love? proves that Adele needs to move on from the very piano backed tracks like ?Easy On Me? and utilize more chamber pop and R&B elements akin to artists like Little Simz or others expanding upon contemporary R&B. Still half of this album is painfully boring which is sad because I can tell how emotional and personal this album is for Adele.

1.5 very poor | Ossacip Olbap | November 23rd 21 | im bored af. some good notes on second track, third is some 2pac style wannabe boringness, omg fuck off with the depression porn. track 4 once again an imitation of a black artist, omg is a rip off track of so many pop funk songs with poorer lyrics, why is my first thought on track 6 that she had nothing to do with that acoustic guitar? cant believe ppl actually pay for such low effort music. wine has some good notes n piano tunes on it, the rest is major soppy borefest with minute moments on to be loved and love is a game zzzzzzzzz

3.6 great | Erwann S. STAFF | November 22nd 21 | Best album to come out on 19/11/21, b e t. Adele's vocals are once again the main focus, but this time they are boosted by songs that ain't pop ballads - and that's a big yes! Even though some tracks do overstay their welcome, there ain't no yawn-inducing fillers - another big yes! All this makes 30 the most diverse Adele record, and that's enough to warrant its numero uno spot in her discog.

4.0 excellent | ghostalgeist | November 22nd 21 | I'll have a review of this up soon enough, but 30 is real good. Balances a nice blend of jazz, gospel, pop, and RnB. "Strangers By Nature", "Cry Your Heart Out", "Oh My God", and "I Drink Wine" are pretty excellent tracks, some of the best in Adele's discography, the whole thing backed by rock-solid, intimate production and some of the best, most passionate vocal performances the woman's ever given. At an hour long, the whole thing's a little too meandering - songs like "Hold On" and "To Be Loved" could have been halved entirely. That dragging runtime hurts the album in the long run, but other than that, 30 is a rock-solid, powerful record, wonderfully personal and evocative.

5.0 classic | saturnwriter | November 18th 21 | A comeback with a song like Easy On Me seemed so not as bombastic as Hello, but the current climate of the music industry needs some ground in its art, where overly produced pop songs and TikTok hits rule today, Adele gave us a ballad, something she's best at, with a resounding voice that can never get old. Her other new singles Hold On, Love is a Game, I Drink Wine, To Be Loved. all tell you WHAT CLASSICS TRULY ARE. This is her "death becomes her" moment, she transforms into every shape and sound profoundly and with great intensity. She's taken challenges and brought back sounds that were long lost and music that we truly needed in times like this. Pretty sure the whole album will be a rollercoaster of love, loss, and finding oneself, I can already see most of these songs as timeless pieces of work because they sound like I've known them for ages. If you don't like this album, maybe you have something against Adele lol but that's a whole red flag in itself, so stay away! THE QUEEN IS BACK AND SHE IS BETTER THAN EVER.
