Pleasantly shocked at how good this is. The album has a great flow, but the songs are also distinct enough to not run together.

Havent followed much Hawthorne Heights in years but damn this album came out of nowhere with a bang. The production sounds incredible on good speakers and the songs are some of the best since the early days.

The metal riffs and metal breakdowns, though far and few between sound great. I think they
should experiment more in that direction.
JT's vocals are just as distinct and easily recognizable as they were 18yrs ago on Silence
N B&W but with less screamo.rThe record as a whole was palatable though not as good as their
first two records but its been 18yrs and they havent fell off completely which speaks for
itself. The opening Constant dread was kind of a banger as well as the first few tracks that
follow.
However some of the of the tracks mid-way through were meh, definitely nothing to write
home about and the last song (this is the end) starts out really great but the way they
ended the song really left me with a sour facial expression (the kind of face you make when
trying a nasty locally crafted seasonal brew)

Really enjoying this release which features Hawthorne Heights at their best with catchy pop punk melodies and
heavy-ish breakdowns/screams. Lead singer JT doesn’t sound so whiny as in some parts of Bad Frequencies
and sonically the album sounds great! Good on them to keep releasing solid music still in 2021.
Fav Tracks: Constant Dread, Holy Coast, Tired and Alone
Fav Moment: Never imagined hawthorne could go so metalcore with the breakdown and double guitars/riffs on
Holy Coast but it sure does work!!
