As much as punks will diss this soundtrack and say it is a disgrace to the original bands, I have to beg to differ. Judging it only on the track listing is not a smart thing, as many of the bands abandon their pop-punk (none of these bands are emo, morons) sounds and take on the sound of the original artist. The best example of this is Taking Back Sunday's cover of "Suburban Home / I Like Food" which sounds like it came straight from the 80s. Most of the songs are just like this. The only covers that deserve the bashing and hate the whole album has been receiving is the covers of "Let's Have a War", which no bands seems to be able to do correctly and the cover of "Sonic Reducer" because it is just wrong for anyone to cover a Dead Boys song.
