Elora Danan were one of the few Australian bands that did something different, which the album was interesting. However, the album was not breathtaking, thus deserving the rating.
Elora Danan, manage to write a record that reeks with technical progression and ambience without it becoming overbearing or too ambitious. The guitars seem to float on endlessly around a tight rhythm section which allows the band to create some really interesting and unique soundscapes. Each song has the feeling it could go on forever and that wouldn't be such a bad thing. A new riff is brought in, vocalist george green does something different with each new section, it just works.
