Wow, I was blown away by this album. The contrast between thrashy, evil riffs and melodic passages and folk instruments, the guttural growls and the cleans, makes for a great effect. Full of energy and malice, yet also beauty and purity.
Pururauca is an excellent take on both the folk metal genre and the death/thrash genre. Recommended to fans of either.
