Deliciously fast and bombastic power metal with the emphasis on keyboards. This is the first album of Fairland where guest performers are used with the keyboard player being the sole remaining member.
This is, in my opinion a step in the right direction. It gets better with every new album. Just listen to the catchy ''Assault On The Shores'' to get a fast picture of the album.
The fact that the singer of Serenity's contributes to this album is absolutely awesome. The only downside that I can think of is that it is not that original, and again it tends to sound like Blind Guardian / Rhapsody, but this is less than the previous record, which I will not count into my final verdict.
And be honest, does it really have to be original? As long as it's just good music being executed right, I am happy, and that's what this album makes you.
It's just as awesome as Fantasy metal can become, for me at least.
