One of the greatest indie rock albums to ever be released. There is so much grace, elegance, and passion permeating these songs. Well done.

Dammit, once you eliminate the hype and begin to cut to the core of Veckatimest, you've got yourself a fucking good record. At first, the album will seem boring and difficult to take in. Following this will be a development of interest in particular tracks - the swaying "Cheerleader", the chiming and harmonious "Two Weeks" and the divine "Foreground" just a few examples. Finally, you will find yourself immersed in the entire record as a listening experience. And by this point, you're soaked head to toe in charming, soulful and heartfelt indie-leaning pop. Very much worth the effort.

This is one of my favorite albums. As soon as I heard it, something just clicked for me and I instantly fell in love with it. Not quite a 5, because of a few weaker moments, but if Grizzly Bear can continue with the upward trend from Yellow House to this, then their next album will be mind-blowing!

I didn't know Grizzly Bear before this album, but after hearing this album i was an instant fan. Beach Boy style vocal harmonies, and absolutely beautiful musicianship makes this album a soothing and emotionally powerful album that begs to be heard.

Veckatimest, could almost be the perfect album. Having obvious pop roots, the album
varies from slow melodic tracks, with hauntingly beautiful melodies and harmonies to the
straight up pop tracks like 'Two Weeks'. Grizzly Bear have easily produced one of the best
albums of the year and Veckatimest has
definitely lived up to the hype.
