Welp we got more of this shoegaze and heavy music fusion that has been creeping up throughout the last decade as bands like Deafheaven have made blackgaze so popular. However, this sophomore record from the supergroup from metal bands Dillinger Escape Plan and Extol and vocals from pop band member Eleni from Sea + Air, fuse post-hardcore with shoegaze. I have to say for the most part this thing hits heavy and keeps your ears peaked during the surf rock sounding guitar chords. My biggest gripe (and it?s a grip I have with most of this style) the sound does get stale after a while since bands usually don?t change anything up through the track.

Harder, with better production, swirls even further, cracks the brain, split in two and it multiplies x4 plus 3, then count 30 minutes again. They succeeded. The avg is only because ppl don't bother X)

Post-hardcore vox + tech thrashcore riffz + eerie passages because that's so 2020 + a calmer voice during these beaut moments = a cool album. It sure is a grower.

While I acknowledge these guys talent and great ideas they showed in this album - but I did not enjoy this as much as I expected. I might be way too eclectic, but... I have no intention to change about this, haha! The riffs and the song structures are fairly interesting and exciting ("Kill / Destroy" is a great jam m/), but on the other side I'm not entirely satisfied with the vocals (I mean the harsh vocals, I loved the clean sections), and with the production. (Those "clicking" and overly compressed drums are the most horryfing thing ever in modern metal...)
