I Been Born Again and If You Pray Right made me really afraid I was gonna hate this album. Boy Bye was kind of more like me, but No Halo was the only song that made me feel like I was listening to a Brockhampton I like. When listening to the album as a whole, I could see where they were trying to go, and I stand by my original opinion about If You Pray Right. It's horrible. Everything else, tho, just work so well. Thank you, BROCKHAMPTON.

Whether we like or not, we can « be happy » to have bands like Brockhampton for the Rap genre, because they have no barriers and have a will to innovate. This talent Andy creativity can be found again in Ginger. It?s a good album, but i think there are too many unequal moments, sometimes it?s even? unequal in the same track. Besides singles level, it?s much worse than on old projects. For these reasons, it?s their «worst »album for me. However, it is worth a detour at least once

Nice evolution from the boys. Sometimes the autotunes are baddey (Ginger, Big Boy), sometimes it's just not that good (the end of If You Pray Right), but when it hits boy does it (No Halo, Dearly Departed).

This album has absurd peaks and painful valleys. I want to like the middle chunk way more than I do.

Definite improvement from iridescence for sure. There's some absolute slappers in this album, and some mellow chill songs as well. Brockhampton feels like they went to the drawing board with this one, and man does it work.

After about 5 listens, I definitely think this album has grown on me. Although both this one and iridescence are more emotional and mature, Ginger definitely offers more hope for the band as they look into the future. This is evident by the first track in the refrain "I'm sure I'll find it" on NO HALO, which is an excellent track. I still think the outro in IF YOU PRAY RIGHT can be removed and the autotune in ginger and big boy should be toned down, but overall I think this album is a step in the right direction and I love how they evolve their sound in almost every new album. Definitely solid 3.8-3.9/5 for me.
