Honestly, I created an account to this garbage site just to write this. Can?t begin to describe how much I like this album. Holy wow. The past year Davis has had its unimaginable how he hasn?t ended up like Chris Cornell or Chester. But this album shows his exact emotion. Period. And sure you know you can say Guitar is recycled so is many albums guitar work outside of korn where do you draw the line? But when you subjectively have a listen forget last korn. This is a SOLID album you don?t stray far from the point that is being made by the album. And as a guitarist for 15 years the guitar work is amazing. You get the feeling of joy when that guitar hits you HARD in these tracks and shit I?m outside in 100+ degrees and suddenly I?m smiling just from these riffs and how well it?s mixed. They did a wonderful job and you can tell they took their time on this album. I?ve given it several listens quite honestly 5 listens per day. The review on this site is a HOT GARBAGE review. They came out with it THE NEXT DAY. Can you honestly say you appreciated every album/song at first listen? No especially when your thinking of past songs and that?s all that?s in your head. You lose your focus that your looking at new material vs. sitting down and constantly comparing as if it matters it?s a brand new album with a brand new set of issues in the writers life. If I could give it more then a 5 I would. But I can?t... Almost every review I?ve read from this site?s writers is garbage. Hot HOT garbage

Every bit as consistently solid as TSoS, but with a few missteps along the way. The interludes really didn't need to be included at all, and the ending was very underwhelming.

This is a masterpiece album and its called the nothing cause its everything we ever hoped for. Similiar in vibe and taste to the album Untouchables it comes fresh and reborn. i give this a solid score because it deserves no less. as loss is what we get out of this albums deep dark nu metal vibe

I have heard more than half of the albums in Korn's discography and The Nothing is definitely the darkest of them all. The loss of Davies' wife is the topic dominating this album and this tragic event has dominated the overall lyrical content. Each track has its own merits, it's own identity and Davies' growling is often at its best. Personally, I found "Cold" to be the highlight track of the album as it encapsulates most of Korn's characteristics in a four-minute track. "The Darkness is Revealing" with its propulsive riff and its catchy chorus is another great track and along with "H@rd3r" are a couple of great moments.

The main reviewer here is obviously not a Korn fan - not that you have to give it a high rating just because you are a fan - but because I think they appear to be listening to something different to everyone else.rIdiosyncrasy harks bark to quality Korn weirdness the likes of which we havent heard since the original debut self-titled. rGravity of discomfort is the coolest Korn track since Paradigm. rThey are still heavy, still brilliantly produced (my hifi loves korn!) and still catch AF.rAnd "falling off the rails as much as Take a look in the mirror" - what the actual f..... in the top 3-4 Korn Albums for me.

Ironically, the track The Nothing defines perfectly what to remember from this album. Unlike Slipknot, who were able to rework their formula and introduce a special theme for their latest success, Korn didn't know how to reinvent themselves (even if it's been like that since the 2000s) and continue to release the same forgettable albums. Maybe we should start thinking that we shouldn't expect anything from them

I wouldn't have never thought that I would be so exited about a new KoRn album but there I was. The album is absolutely amazing every song even the interludes songs were great! the closing track is so fucking depressing and dark unlike in the new Slipknot album which were so unnecessary and boring. If you're a big KoRn fan then you definitely should enjoy this, if you don't then there's something wrong with you and you should get help.

Korn once again attempt a return to making aggressive music. I want to appreciate it,
but as usual, JD and the gang suck the air out of some interesting ideas with bland
chorus melodies. Also, their breakdowns haven't worked in years because Ray's drumming
is way too robotic. They need someone with the slightest sense of groove, even if he
sucks like Silveria.
