Experimentation in a death metal band done perfect. There is no meaningless filler on this album and it all comes together beautifully. I do enjoy Tiamat's other musical efforts(Clouds being my favorite) but this album stands out in a rather humble yet devastatingly magnificent way that is unmatched. Every part of the band showcases their instruments just accordingly to create a vivid space/psychedelic atmosphere that is perfectly accompanied by most intelligent lyrics that are presented with a very versatile singing range. Those who love Pink Floyd's psychedelic music and death metal will consider this a absolutely grand album of epic proportion, as i do myself.
A true beacon in the world of experimental music. Diversity and either versatile influences or just generally creative songwriting makes it hard to find any foothold which makes for an interesting listening experience; with a capital I.
