Its not often you can call an album with the post-rock tag a "breath of fresh air" but there is no better term to describe Stylus Fantasticus. Sgt. fuse together lush piano, jazzy drumming, and disjointed guitar work with the occasional burst of electric violin and chaos to create a rather unique musical experience that provides an energy that most new post-rock bands lack. It keeps you guessing for the length of the album and never gets old.
