This album has a great vibe throughout the entire album, due to the great beats and superb screaming/grunting vocals. Great addition to anyone's collection.

raw, gritty, and unapologetic metalcore. Agraceful comes out swinging with their one and only debut 'The Great I am.' Surely, a one of a kind passionate album.

I really have to add that Chris Roetter is a talented vocalist, and comparing him to most of the genre frontmen out there he's undeniably one of the best when it all comes together. Agraceful as a debut for him is appropriate, and there are some moments here that just make you wonder, why? It's understandable though that Agraceful shined most of the time, and they make their fair share of mistake along the way, but overall were a pretty good little post-hardcore group at the time.

I have to agree with your review and I have to say that I really wanted to like this album, but it was just impossible. The first thing I thought after hearing was if I had put the right CD in because I've heard such music so often. No original ideas and a bad rhythm section...

In my opinion the only thing holding this album together is Chris's vocals because the music isn't special. Chris with Emarosa was unbeatable. I hope their next album does more with the music end of it because Chris's vocals deserve something better.
