Absolutely stunning record, Black Peaks are one of the most exciting rock bands I've heard in a very long time.

While i would not consider this a departure from their debut, the album contains 9 very strong and rifftastic tracks. There's quite a bit of dynamic within each song and it never gets boring. Will (the vocalist) excels the most on here, along with the drums being quite intricate. Give this a shot!

It's not as relentless, direct and self-aware as their debut but it's an improvement in
contrasts and songwriting balance.
There are few moments here where Will a bit undersings but mostly his performance is
flawless. Singles appeared to be misleading as I was expecting a more radio-friendly,
single-oriented album which it's clearly not. The only slight problem here is the mastering
- Will's too high in the mix while Joe is lower than he deserves to be.
All the lenghtier songs are fucking priceless gems, but the most outstanding are "Aether"
(which pays homage to probably Agent Fresco and Tool) and "Fate I & II" (a homage to Arcane
Roots).
