It does exactly what it says on the tin - collects the most famous, successful, and mostly, best songs by one of the crucial musical icons of all time. Every cut is life-affirming, sun-soaked genius, from the obvious likes of "Three Little Birds", "One Love", and "No Woman, Co Cry" to the slightly more unknown - "Waiting In Vain" is sweet, sensual, and seductive, while "Redemption Song" is the best Bob Dylan impression in musical history. The fact that this is the best-selling reggae album ever by quite some margin isn't a surprise - what's surprising is that it hasn't sold MORE. Any lesson in albums with shockingly accurate album names must surely start here.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with Bob Marley. Whether you have never heard his music before, or whether you groove with him every day, there is just something about him that makes you feel good. Legend is pure euphoria and graced with Marley's biggest hits. Every song here provides a nice, easy listen. This is music anyone can relate to.

This album is one of the best albums ever period. It's lifechanging music if ever there was any written in this world and the message is love, peace and unity. I can live with that.

Regga is not a genre I tend to dabble into much often, but when I listen to Bob Marey, I love it! This album is a classic compilation that compiles tons of the man's very best songs. No Woman No Cry, Is this Love, I shot the Sherif are just a few the great songs that are on this album. A Jesus amongs greatest hits albums.

Great album that more than defines a genre. This is the album that other reggae albums strive to be. Not a single filler song found anywhere on this compilation of well loved classics!!! Simply legendary!!!

So universal. Backpacking through West Africa was proof that everyone can connect with this album. Rightfully revered around the world, Marley has put forth a standard in Reggae music that hasn't been touched and strikes a chord with everyone in the room.

Legend delivers Bob Marley's greatist hits of the genre. This disc proves he deserves the respect in the general reggae genre. All of the tracks on this album are fantastic and deserve the respect they recieve. In many eyes, Marley is the greatest reggae/dub artist of all time with legends Peter Tosh and Lee Perry.

This album has all Bob Marley's essensial songs. From No Woman, No Cry to Jammin' this album is great! All though not all songs are as great as the others this album is a classic. You got the best of the best Reggea artist. If you want more you should check his "Songs For Freedom" collection. It contains somehow more policital, harder and underrated songs.
