Skip School, Start Fights has about three or four really solid tracks. Beyond that though the album is full of repetitive filler and pure cliche of the pop-punk genre.

An overlong and often generic album in 2008 that plays to safe. The introduction of back up/guitar turned lead vocalist Nick Thompson is well and good, but just fall short of being a band of their own and instead trying to get in with the All Time Low and New Found Glory crowd.

If I had heard this album for the first time today, I would probably wouldn't care for it that much. Alas, this album came to me at a time when I didn't listen to that much music, and it hit all the right notes for me. Too much fun. Its true, there is nothing original, or "great" on this album, but I know the lyrics to every song on here and spin it regularly.Will cherish my copy of this CD until I'm an old geezer bopping with my fists and yelling with no teeth "Rest is for the dead" !!!

No, it's not original or genre defining. It's just catchy pop-punk that is fun to listen to, and is played better than some other bands in the genre. The songs "Breathe In" and "Hangs 'Em High" are quite addicting.

I'm new to these guys, but I was hooked after hearing "Back Breaker" on their Myspace. They've got more balls than typical pop punk groups like All Time Low or We The Kings. The vocals and guitars are strong throughout the album, but you probably won't even notice the drums or bass. It's kind of your typical pop punk CD though, so if you're not into the genre you might want to stay back and leave it for the teens.
