This album is undeniably enjoyable. It is so catchy and so inspireable I just can't resist a good old fasion Boston song when it comes on the radio. I can't find a bad track on this. The only way this isn't a 5 is that the songs get a bit old. But that doesn't take away from the greatness. The choruses are superb and so easy to find yourself to sing along to.

excellent stuff production-wise, and the music is just straight rock without any garbage or filler thrown in the mix. short and consistant, i fux with this album all the way. too bad it's the only album really worth mentioning in their discog.

Total 70's guitar rock replete with chart topping single. Unfortunately the memory of that chart topping single will make you completely forget about great hard-rocking tracks like "Foreplay/Long Time".

Undeniably a classic albums according to most people. Rock music doesn't have to be that complicated really, and Boston certainly proves it. There's not a half bad song to be found on this album and though I simply can't bring myself to rate an album of this genre unrealistically high I'll admit it gives me a very warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Catchy album!

Boston does hard-rock like it has never been done before, with their smashing debut... at times, the message surpasses the superb delivery, as "Peace of Mind" showcases. Unfortunately, the band's stellar musical performance was not matched by the song-writing ability of the band, but then again, people listen to hard-rock to enjoy the music, not the message.

By and far the greatest debut album of all time. Boston created a masterpiece and then went on to other albums that were far inferior to this one. Ranked as my favourite Boston album, favourite album of 1976, 2nd favourite album of the 1970s, and 4th favourite album of all time.

Boston's self-titled debut brings a sound that, though relatively straightforward, is often full of energy before slumping in the last few minutes. Brief, fun and casual, this album overcomes its flaws simply thanks to its approachability and almost irresistibly catchy songs.

This Album is one of the greatest albums ever made. Boston knows how to rock and rock good. "More Than A Feeling" is a song that is well known and is still very good. "Foreplay Long Time" has a ridiculous intro in which you don't know where the song is going to go but when the guitar kicks in you feel the wait was worth it and you think "This is the fricken awesomest thing ever." "Something About You" is an amazing love song and i feel Boston when they sing it.

This is probably the only album from the 70's or anytime round the era, that EVERY track stood out as being different from the one that was on before it, and the one coming next. Brad Delp's vocals soar like an eagle in every song, & Tom Sholz pulls off some amazing guitar solos throughout, which combined make this album being very enjoyable. More Than A Feeling, Foreplay/Long Time, Piece Of Mind & Smokin' are all classics in their own right. The best album of the 70's, without any doubt, & one of the greatest albums ever recorded in the history of music.

Some people would say these album started metal. I cant agree more. RIP Brad Delp he was the really good vocallist of Boston. This record is just amazing songs like More than a feeling and forelong are esecialy enjotable. Any one who likes metal or just rock should definitly get his right now.

Boston achieve something unthinkable. Every song stands on its own as the perfect radio hit that all can enjoy and as a cohesive whole it supplies one of the catchiest albums of all time. I almost feel bad for them trying to even attempt to beat their own debut.

How can you not find yourslef in a happy place when you are listening to Boston's debut? This album perfectly defines classic rock. It has got killer solos and warm and touching vocals, and every song is catchy! This may not be a perfect rock album or anything but its got everything that the 70's were all about. MORE THAN A FEELING!

Undeniably enjoyable...at some parts. Although many parts of Boston's debut, Boston are not that great at all. The album shines on tracks such as Hitch A Ride, Peace Of Mind, and of course, the great More Than A Feeling, but overall, there are plenty of mediocre tracks. Songs like Smokin' and Something About You are just plain bad, and Let Me Take You Home Tonight is not exactly that good of a track. The instrumentation is decent, and while some solos are legendary, some of the guitar work and such is just mediocre. Overall, a decent album thats goods fun.

This album is a Rock n' Roll classic for a couple of undeniable reasons. Firstly, this set the standard for all Radio Rock to come, describing and prescribing the deviously simple and cleverly dynamic style of multi-tracked guitars, high tenor melodies backed by full-band harmonies, memorable riffs and legendary solos. Secondly, every song is absolutely entertaining and fun to listen to, and well more than half of the tracks became world-wide hits. If you can listen to songs like "More Than a Feeling", "Peace of Mind", "Foreplay/Long Time" and "Rock and Roll Band" and NOT find yourself in a happy place, question whether or not you're really human.
