The Brendon Urie solo show continues on where Death of a Bachelor left off. It's what you can expect from Panic! at this point which is either good or bad depending on how you feel about the band.

It works fine as a pop record, but whatever it is that made PATD unique is gone. Songs are catchy and make me nod my head and whatnot, but it doesn't even stand next to death of a bachelor.rPerhaps it would've worked better without the panic moniker, and instead was labeled a Brendan solo album.

Half of the album's tracks are great ("Hey Ma, Look I Made It", "Roaring 20s", "Old Fashioned") but the other half is either harmless ("King of the Clouds") or just... bad ("Silver Lining") a major step down from 2016's Death of a Bachelor.

Not as bad as all of these pre-release negative ratings say it is. Some of these tracks actually
have decent melodies and choruses. But pass that, there isn't much really. The production is flat,
and the writing is so shallow and (at times) atrocious. God I miss Ryan Ross.

The album was very disappointing, a decent amount of it was just generic pop melodies even if rthere were some truly unique moments. The writing is pretty standard for modern Panic! but that rdoesn't make it great. The album as a whole sounds pretty good, but it is a huge far cry from rDeath of A Bachelor, which was far more varied and memorable.
