Everyone seems to love to hate on Craig Owens but his voice works perfectly with both Chiodos and Cinematic Sunrise. The emotion apparent in his voice compels listeners to invest and listen intently to the song. Those who do are rewarded. I recommend Umbrellas and Elephants, Our Honeymoor at Weston Hills and The Wordless

On some of the songs, the band didn't sound as one. They were together, but they didn't sound 'tight-knit'. I feel no need to bash on Craig Owen's vocals, on this record. They worked with the music they were playing. Put your prejudice behind you, and just listen.

A pretty good record. Best song is easily 'Our Honeymoon at Weston Hills'. Some songs (looking at you 'You Told me you Loved Me') the band doesn't really click.

Side projects tend to usually rock. In Chiodos? case they do more than that in that they take the aspect of the beautiful vampire?s 18 year old hot and sexy sister. Yeah, let?s just say i was blown away.
We?ve got more melodic, more happy, more poppy and more emotion with creative creations, like the pit-er pat-er on the rooftop, but mostly just that 18 year old beautiful hot sexy sister.
Cinematic Sunrise grows from melodies built on piano, to smashing drums and riffs that make that too early sunrise quite cinematic? but really, don?t wake up that early again, just listen to Cinematic Sunrise.
So go ahead, break out the crayons and color that emo vampire you?ve always thought was hot; but be careful, you just might get bitten at sunrise.

Such a beautiful record. We can only hope that craig owens puts all of his efforts toward this band and drops gawd awful chiodos. Not a weak track on here.
